Policing is unarguably one of the most stressful occupations in the world. The need for constant alertness and threatening situations police staff must face on a day-to-day basis makes mindfulness a highly desirable tool for officers. With an increasing number of policemen and women speaking out about the benefits of mindfulness in helping to address the fears and anxieties that are to the profession, the need to increase access to mindfulness is evident.
